When autumn arrives, it’s hard not to think of the cold nights creeping in, the leaves falling off the trees and the fact that summer is but a distant memory. But then again, it also marks the arrival of one of the nation’s favourite TV shows – a British staple that will get you reaching for the sequins and polishing off your dancing shoes. It’s Strictly season once again!

It’s the television fixture that reminds us that Christmas will soon be here. It makes us salsa on our sofas and Cha Cha Cha in our chairs and we couldn’t be more excited that it’s back for another season – it’s 11th year and 13th season on our screens.

This year, the celebrity stars are as amazing as ever and in case (somehow) you’ve missed the announcement of who’s going to be gracing our TV screens this year, check out the celeb line-up:

Jeremy Vine, Ainsley Harriott, Kellie Bright, Georgia May Foote, Katie Derham, Carol Kirkwood, Peter Andre, Daniel O’Donnell, Anthony Ogogo, Jay McGuiness, Anita Rani, Jamelia, Helen George, Iwan Thomas, Kirsty Gallacher.

Amazing right? And if you’re a huge strictly fan, then we know you won’t want to miss the most amazing tour of the year. Returning for a fab-u-lous ninth year, with its brand new host Mel Giedroyc – star of the Great British Bake Off – is Strictly Come Dancing Live 2016!

You’ll get to see the fearsome threesome themselves, Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli who will be reunited for the 2016 tour. Great laughs and some fabulous critique are guaranteed!

Many of your much-loved celebrity dancers and their professional partners will reunite on a supersized ballroom floor, competing for your votes in the hope of lifting the famous glitterball trophy.

With thrilling dancing and acrobatics; breathtaking costumes; a-maz-ing choreography and incredible live music from the Strictly band, this is an entertainment extravaganza not to be missed.

Here’s hoping there’ll be a bit of classic Strictly banter too…

So what are you waiting for, Strictly fans? It’s the must see event of 2016 and you’d have to be mad to miss it. Dust off your fabulous gowns and get yourself there next January/February. Tickets are on sale now at See Tickets!

I’m practising my moves already…
