The world awoke to tragic news this morning as it was revealed that music legend, David Bowie, had passed away at age 69 after an 18 month battle with cancer.
People around the globe have been flooding social media with tributes to the late musician and actor. His music has influenced generations since his debut self-titled album in 1967.
His final album, 'Blackstar' was released just two days earlier on 8th January 2016, which was also Bowie's 69th birthday.
