For those of you avid concertgoers and all-round music lovers, it’s been a huge week as an incredible line-up of artists have announced 2017 tour dates, with tickets on sale Friday 2nd December. If you don’t want to miss a thing, we’re bringing you a rundown of some of the highlights coming up in the world of live music – be excited.
W!ZARD Radio Station is the UK’s Most Popular Online Teen Radio Station, reaching teenagers internationally with tastemakers cross-genre, including pop, rock, indie, rap, hip-hop and more. Past guests on-air include the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Arctic Monkeys and Professor Green.
On Monday 28th November, Laura Marling unveiled her new track Soothing and her directorial debut with its accompanying video. As if this didn’t cause enough of a stir amongst fans, then came the announcement that a sixth studio album, Super Femina, is due to be released on 10th March 2017. The icing on the cake came with news of a UK headline tour in support of the album, which will include a date at Roundhouse, Camden on 17th March- Laura Marling, you’re too kind. Friday 10th March 2017 is already looking to be a massive day for new music as joining Laura Marling is Liverpudlian indie-rock band Circa Waves with their brand new record Different Creatures. The lead single off the new album ‘Wake Up’ is available to download and stream now and if you haven’t heard it yet believe us, you’re in for a treat! If you can’t bear the wait until 10th March 2017 to hear a brand new record, have no fear because London four-piece Palace released their debut album So Long Forever on 4th November 2016 and it’s definitely worth a listen. More great news, they’re hitting the road in April 2017 for a lengthy UK headline tour promoting the album, kicking things off at The Cookie, Leicester on the 3rd and bringing everything to a close on the 27th at O2 Shepherds Bush Empire. Following on from an extensive UK tour finishing with his biggest headline show to date at Oslo, Hackney on 26th October, Leo Stannard released his new single ‘Oceans’ on 4th November and has dropped hints that a debut album will be coming our way in 2017. Adding to what looks to be a very exciting year for the 21-year-old multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter, tickets for his Along The Way Tour in March go on sale this week, with dates in Manchester, Bristol and London. The Japanese House
As one of the busiest band in the business, The Japanese House have had a jam-packed year of live performances across the UK, Europe and US, with more to come in December as the special guest of The 1975 on their UK tour. They can’t stop and won’t stop as they’ve just announced a UK and European 2017 tour, following on from the release of new EP Swim Against The Tide in early November. Hopefully this news brings us one step closer to hearing a debut album in the near future, watch this space! Tickets for The Japanese House are on sale Friday 2 December
Having sold-out most of his EU & UK dates this year, Jordan Rakei is returning to London on 11th April for his biggest headline show ever and he’s inviting you all to join him in celebrating the success of the tour and his debut album Cloak which came out in June.
