Declan McKenna

With a couple of dates coming up later this month and early next year, Declan McKenna is one of the youngest artists on the scene right now but what he lacks in age, he certainly makes up for with talent. At only 17, McKenna writes about some seriously hard-hitting stuff including UK & international politics and social inequality on his singles Brazil and Isombard, proving himself to be wise beyond his years. It was following the release of their critically acclaimed album ‘Marks To Prove It’ in 2015 that the band announced their split earlier this year, telling the public that “there have not been fallings out and we are grateful to say that we are not leaving the group as a dividing force’. This tour is meant as a “huge celebration” of the band’s 14 years together and sounds like a party you definitely don’t want to miss out on. Tickets for The Maccabees are on sale Friday 9 December at 9am
