See’s Weekly Hot Picks featuring Arcade Fire, Nashville in Concert, Ed Sheeran and more!

Good afternoon all, welcome to See Tickets’ weekly hot picks. Check out some of the amazing tours and festivals that have been announced, they’re all going on sale this week. We’ve got some great things to shout about, so enjoy!


Arcade Fire are set to bring their breathtaking live set to Sounds Of The City this summer at Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl on Thursday 6th July. Arcade Fire’s headline show, which is also part of Manchester International Festival, is their first in the city in six years. The band’s creative journey so far has seen them release highly acclaimed studio albums ‘Funeral’, ‘Neon Bible’, ‘The Suburbs’ and ‘Reflektor’.

Stars of the Lionsgate produced and distributed hit series ‘Nashville’ are set to play for UK audiences during a second international tour in June, which includes two nights at London’s Royal Albert Hall. Launching on Friday, 9th June in Birmingham, the tour will feature cast members Clare Bowen, Chris Carmack, Charles Esten and Jonathan Jackson, plus Sam Palladio on select dates – playing songs from the series as well as original material.

Ed Sheeran is the latest artist to join this year’s already stellar line-up for Teenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall in association with Aldi! He will be headlining on Tuesday, 28th March, just weeks after his hotly anticipated third album ÷ is released! Speaking about the event, Ed said: “It’s an honour to be asked back by the Teenage Cancer Trust for their fundraising week of live gigs. It’s such an important cause and one that I’m extremely proud to be part of. See you on March 28 and let’s raise loads of money for young people with cancer!”

Green Day have just announced a new show at Sheffield Arena, as part of their extensive tour in support of their latest album ‘Revolution Radio’. After topping the charts on both sides of the Atlantic with ‘Revolution Radio’, Green Day’s new single ‘Still Breathing’ is out now. Produced by Green Day and recorded in Oakland, ‘Still Breathing’ matches its raucous energy with reflective lyrics which seek hope in challenging times.

After the huge success of his standout solo album ‘Godfather’ in January, Wiley has announced his biggest ever headline show to date in the UK, which will take place at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on Friday, 3rd November. The announcement follows his sold out gig in Camden’s Roundhouse earlier this month – which went near-viral, with a veritable roll call of grime royalty coming out in support the Godfather of grime.

Following five sold-out shows in Leeds, Manchester, Edinburgh, Birmingham and Bournemouth on their ‘Super Tour’ across the UK this February, the Pet Shop Boys are delighted to announce that they will return to the UK in June 2017 with two extra dates in Blackpool and Nottingham. For over 25 years the Pet Shop Boys have been regarded as innovators of the modern live music show, incorporating multimedia and theatrical elements into their productions.

Having recently unveiled details of their incredible forthcoming album ‘The Weather’, Perth’s Pond have announced UK dates as part of their European tour this May and June. The run of dates also includes the band’s biggest UK headline show to date, at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town on Friday, 16th June.

Having played to a packed Shepherd’s Bush Empire on Saturday night, the legendary American Football now share news they’ll be returning to these shores for some special autumn shows in Brighton, Manchester and Edinburgh! The shows come in support of the band’s acclaimed second self-titled album – an album many thought would never see the light of day, coming 17 years after their beloved debut.

Machine Gun Kelly has officially announced his European tour which kicks off at London’s KOKO on Wednesday, 7th June. The announcement of the upcoming headline run follows his hit single ‘Bad Things’ – a collaboration with Camila Cabello, produced by The Futuristics (Chris Brown/Bruno Mars) – scoring the #1 position on the Billboard pop chart.
