The Script

The Irish band’s summer tour is fast approacing, and with many of the shows sold out, it’s clear the fans are excited to see them live again after their last tour, ‘No Sound Without Silence’ in 2015. They’ve released four albums before 2017, but have recently been a bit quiet, with the most recent coming out in 2014. But, they’ve announced that they have a new album coming out later this year called ‘Freedom Child’. The tour will no doubt showcase some of the new songs, as well as the older tracks we all know so well.

If you fancy two last minute standing tickets at Empress Ballroom, Bristol on Wed 30th Aug, you can get them here.

Clubnight of the Conchords

The event that’s described as paying tribute to “New Zealand's fourth most popular guitar-based digi-bongo acapella-rap-funk-comedy folk duo” may sound odd, but it’s proved very popular, having completely sold out. Not only will the eclectic taste of music include Flight of the Conchords, but you’ll also hear some Bowie, R.Kelly and even Prince.  Fancy dress is also encouraged, so it’s set to be a unique night of fun, madness and brilliant tunes.

Don't worry if you missed out on tickets, as there are six on offer with entry before 12am at The Deaf Institute in Manchester on 1st Sep available here.

Interpol

The rock band from New York City is going on a ‘Turn on the Bright Lights’ anniversary tour, and with just a couple of weeks to go and with all three UK dates sold out, many fans are clearly excited for their short return to the UK. The band of three released their debut studio album, ‘Turn on the Bright Lights’ back in 2002, so this tour will be the 15 year anniversary. It spent 73 weeks in the Billboard Independent Album Chart, peaking at number 5. No wonder the tickets flew out.

But if you were unlucky enough to miss you, you can grab a standing ticket to the Alexandra Palace show on Fri 1st Sep here.

The Sisters of Mercy

This rock’n’roll band from Leeds have been making waves since they formed in 1980. However, they stopped releasing new albums in the 90s as a protest against their record label, ‘Time Warner’. Now, all they do is tour, which is great because they’re awesome at it. Their two London shows in September are completely sold out, proving their fans can never get enough, and just because they haven’t released a new album since 1993 doesn’t mean they aren’t constantly showcasing new material during their shows.

So, if you missed out but would love to see them live, there are two standing tickets on offer for the Roundhouse in London on Sat 2nd Sep here.

An Evening With Katya Zamolodchikova

As soon as ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ star, Katya Zamolodchikova announced she was planning on spending some time in the UK in 2018 for a UK tour of ‘An Evening With’, you were lucky to get hold of a ticket. All shows are already completely sold out, which isn’t surprising after she not only came fifth in the 2015 season of Drag Race, but also won the Miss Congeniality award. She then appeared on All Stars season two, where she was runner-up.

If you didn't get tickets, don't just sashay away, as there are two seats available for Mon 5th Sep at Alexandra Theatre in Birmingham here.
