Party on the Prom

Blackpool’s first family festival is coming to the stunning seaside location, the Tower Festival Headland on Sunday 8th July! You can expect a full day of fun with plenty of entertainment surrounded by the beautiful seaside.

From meet and greets with Paw Patrol, Peppa Pig, Peter Rabbit and Rex The T-Rex to live performances from Andy Day & The Odd Socks, A Taste of Little Mix, Johnny and the Raindrops and Raver Tots featuring DJ Slipmatt, you’ll have plenty of activities to keep you busy. But that’s not all! The workshop area and big marquee will also be up and running for the kids to get involved in educational and exciting activities, as well as fully-licensed bars, food stalls and even a funfair. If it all gets a little too much, you can wander over to the sea for a dip to cool down.

Boardmasters

Set on the beautiful Cornish coast, Boardmasters Festival is a festival with a view. From Wednesday 8th August to Sunday 12th August, Newquay will be full to the brim with some incredible musical acts. Headlining this year will be Catfish and the Bottlemen, The Chemical Brothers and George Ezra, with Kano, Years & Years, Rag’n’Bone Man, Annie Mac, Friendly Fires and more completing the line up!

Made up of two stunning locations, the festival offers even more than great live music. The surfing mecca of the UK, Fistral Beach gives everyone the opportunity to catch some waves, while arguably the most stunning location in the country, Watergate Bay will be hosting the live performances.

MTV Presents: Ocean City Sounds

Set in the heart of Plymouth, this two day festival will be taking place at the picturesque natural harbour, Plymouth Hoe. With the Art Deco Tinside Lido ready to be jumped in and cool you down just a short walk away, you don't need to worry about the summer heat.

The location isn't the only impressive aspect of this festival though, with the line up for both days looking exciting. The first day, Thursday 26th July will be headlined by Bastille, with Ella Eyre, Professor Green, R3wire + Varski all set to perform. Pete Tong and the Heritage Orchestra will bring 'Ibiza Classics' to life on the second day, Friday 27th July. The combination of the stunning location overlooking the sea, classic dance tracks and a full festival light show is bound to bring on plenty of 90's summer holiday nostalgia. Tom Findlay of Groove Armada and Danny Howard will also be performing on the Friday.

By The Sea

Returning to multiple venues at Margate, Kent this year from Friday 28th September to Sunday 30th September is By the Sea Festival. Last year’s headliners included The Libertines, Metronomy and Everything Everything so you can expect a great line up.

Being just a short walk away from Dreamland, you can check out the theme park rides as well as having a splash around in the sea. The 2018 line up is coming soon, so keep your eyes peeled!
