Communion, the highly respected independent promoter and record label, have announced details of the latest installment of their New Faces tour which features four up-and-coming artists embarking on a run of shows together around the UK.
Previous lineups have starred Frances who went on to feature on this year’s BBC Sound Poll, Seafret who have just released their debut album, and Eliza and the Bear who’s most recent single climbed onto the B-list at Radio 1, amongst many other now established names.
This latest installment of New Faces will see The Beach, Adam French, Rukhsana Merrise and Matt Woods playing seven shows together throughout the last two weeks of April.
Starting in Liverpool, the tour will call into Manchester, Birmingham, London, Oxford, Brighton, and Bristol.

Having played the BBC Introducing stage at Reading & Leeds last summer, supported numerous big names including Frances and Jack Garratt to name a few, and just wrapped his own UK headline tour, Adam French, a 22 year-old singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from the Northwest of England, joins New Faces as a seasoned live performer. London artist Rukhsana Merrise released her debut EP ‘September Songs’ to a wealth of acclaim in 2015. The New Faces tour will be a rare opportunity to see her perform in an intimate setting as throughout March she will be supporting the Brit Award winning James Bay on his European tour and at his sold out Hammersmith Apollo shows. Classically trained as a chorister from a young age, Matt Woods has developed a love for vocal harmony which is clear in his music as he combines soulful vocals with minimal, electronic production. Having relocated from Cornwall to London and spent the last year in and out of the studio honing his craft, he’ll release his debut EP ‘In The Dark’ on 20th April just ahead of the New Faces tour kicking off.
