Festivals are all about the summer right? Well actually no. There's plenty to keep you going into autumn if you haven't already been to a festival this year or fancy another one and don't want to wait until summer 2017.
SEPTEMBER
Taking place this weekend in Brighton, Together The People boasts a UK festival exclusive from Brian Wilson performing ‘Pet Sounds’! Also confirmed are Suede, The Horrors and Gaz Coombes with kids entertainment from Lazytown Live and Aliens Love Underpants.
Taking place at Dreamland theme park, By The Sea’s line-up includes an enviable mix of Bat For Lashes, Wild Beasts, Super Furry Animals and Wolf Alice. Jarvis Cocker will be manning the dodgems too!
Headliners at this year's South East London weekender include Belle and Sebastian, Roisin Murphy, James and Hot Chip. In addition to music, the festival also has a big focus on food with a Chef's Banquet taking place too
Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia, Liverpool
The Psych Fest gathering returns to Liverpool, this year with music from Super Furry Animals, Demdike Stare and The Stairs and many more. Venues include Camp and Furnace, Blade Factory and District.
A brand new one-day festival with music from James, Wolf Alice and Primal Scream plus celebrity chefs, street food and Puffin World of Stories.
The first UK edition of Afropunk, the festival that celebrates diversity and multiculturalism, takes place at Alexandra Palace. The musical line-up includes Grace Jones, Loyle Carner, Kwabs and Laura Mvula – who appear in addition to arts, crafts and food.
OCTOBER
Neighbourhood Festival, Manchester
A new multi-venue festival taking place across Manchester on 8 October. Music comes from Blossoms, White Lies, Twin Atlantic, Circa Waves and a host of up and coming acts.
Liverpool Music Week, Liverpool
John Carpenter, Dinosaur Jr, Louis Berry and Clean Cut Kid are some of the acts lined up for this year's event. Single day tickets and a wristband giving entry to all events are on sale now.
Illuminations Festival, London
The fifth year of Illuminations is again a showcase of modern music, art and film featuring Pantha Du Prince and Let's Eat Grandma. Events take place across London including Oval Space, Troxy and Electric Brixton.
With music from Bat For Lashes, Bill Ryder-Jones, Liv Dawson and Allah-Las, Mirrors makes its return this October at four London venues including St Johns at Hackney and Oslo.
