Dead Funny - Meet The Cast

Terry Johnson’s comedy, Dead Funny opens at the Vaudeville on the 27th October starring a rather exciting comedic cast, check them out below. And if that's not enough to get you excited, tickets start at just £15 for this 'painfully funny and funnily painful' (The Times) show.

Steve Pemberton - A member of The League of Gentlemen, and has also starred in Doctor Who, Benidorm, Shameless, Mr Bean's Holiday and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy - will play Brian in Dead Funny; an unmarried, 50-something year old who is something of a mummy's boy, who comes between the relationships of two married couples. Judging by his previous work, we'll think he'll be perfect. Here he is as Tubbs in The League of Gentlemen:

Katherine Parkinson is probably best known for her role as Jen Barber in The IT Crowd and most recently Laura Hawkins in Humans. Parkinson will play Eleanor in the play, originally played by Zoë Wanamaker in 1994.

It will be her first time to the stage in the last three years but she is no stranger to the London stage, having performed in Soho Theatre, The Barbican, The National Theatre and many more.

Not only a semi-professional footballer, Ralf Little starred in comedy shows The Royle Family, & Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps. Here he is in a rather ballsy sketch from the Comic Relief special of The Royle Family in 2009:

Emily Berrington's most notable role is Niska in Humans, alongside (Katherine Parkinson) but she has starred in The Inbetweeners 2 Movie. This will be her first West End credit and we can't wait to see what she brings to the stage.
