Album and Tour Recommendations!

It’s a massive time for new music, with plenty of fresh releases to get excited about. This week W!ZARD Radio is looking at artists with highly-anticipated forthcoming albums who will be supporting their new releases with a series of UK tour dates over the upcoming months!

Loyle Carner

Described as one of the most genuine and soulful rappers of his genre right now, 22-year-old South Londoner Loyle Carner’s debut LP 'Yesterday’s Gone' is certainly something to shout about. Out on 20th January, featuring popular singles like Damselfly (feat. Tom Misch), the new release will be supported by a UK tour in February including two nights at O2 Shepherds Bush Empire on 17th and 18th. Tickets for Loyle Carner are on sale now

Cloud Nothings

Back with a more mature and refined sound, Cloud Nothings are treating us to a brand new album 'Life Without Sound' out on the 27th January. Singles 'Modern Act' and 'Internal World' have given us a taste of the Cleveland trio’s cleaner and smarter style which they’ll be promoting across the UK in March, with dates in major cities like Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds and London. Tickets for Cloud Nothings are on sale now.

Amber Run

Nottingham based quartet, Amber Run have been teasing us over the last year with tracks like 'Haze', 'No Answers' and 'Fickle Game' off their second album 'For A Moment', 'I Was Lost'. Now there are just three weeks to go until the release date and the beginning of their UK tour which will be kicking off in Norwich on 8th February and finishing at O2 Forum Kentish Town on 25th. Tickets for Amber Run are on sale now.

Dutch Uncles

Manchester’s art-poppers Dutch Uncles are also making a massive return in 2017 with a new album Big Balloon out on 17th February on Memphis Industries. So far, we’ve heard the jittery title track and this week the smooth and synthy song Oh Yeah was also unveiled, giving us a taste for the new meticulous pop record. UK tour starts on 1st March in Edinburgh and encompasses cities like Newcastle, Nottingham and Birmingham. Tickets for Dutch Uncles are on sale now.

Lewis Watson

Also hitting the UK live music circuit in March following on from UK dates in November and December last year, is London-based singer-songwriter Lewis Watson, with confirmed stops in Portsmouth, Brighton, Oxford and Bristol amongst a whole host of others. The tour is in support of his second album midnight which is due to be released on the 3rd March on Cooking Vinyl Limited. Tickets for Lewis Watson are on sale now.
