Located just a stones throw away from Piccadilly Circus station and on the edge of London's famously trendy Soho district lies the Brasserie Zédel. A beautiful, Art Deco, French Brasserie home to amazing food, drink and theatre.

A favourite at Live at Zédel, Judy Carmichael plays to sell-out crowds with every visit. Past appearances at St. James Theatre, Ronnie Scott's and countless U.K. festivals sold out weeks in advance.

Grammy nominated American pianist, vocalist, songwriter, Judy Carmichael, will play her original compositions, along with gems from the American Songbook.

Judy Carmichael appears frequently on radio and TV throughout the world and maintains a busy international touring schedule. She is popular with both jazz and cabaret audiences with her soulful, swinging interpretations of the Great American Songbook, and equally impressive hilarious, improvisational anecdotes.

Judy's wit and musical knowledge come together on her weekly NPR radio show and podcast Judy Carmichael's Jazz Inspired, now in its 17th year, where she talks with celebrated creative people about their love for jazz and how it inspires them, everyone from Seth MacFarlane and Chevy Chase to Robert Redford and Billy Joel.

Judy's frequent musical partner, guitarist Colin Oxley, will join her for the run this limited run that ends Saturday 29th April (tomorrow) and guitarist Sam Dunn will also appear at the last show.

Maria Friedman: 2nd - 20th May

 

 

Following her sell out Live At Zédel debut, the triple Olivier Award-winning, (and director of the West End revival of Stepping Out starring Amanda Holden) Maria Friedman explores the work of Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim in her critically acclaimed show.

Performing songs from their separate catalogues, as well as their joint masterpiece 'West Side Story'. Songs include 'New York, New York', 'I Can Cook Too', 'Losing My Mind' and 'Send In The Clowns'.

Maria will be joined by Musical Director, the incredible Jason Carr.

Joe Stilgoe & Friends: 29th May - 4th June

 

 

Joe Stilgoe, Live at Zédel favourite - not to mention internationally celebrated pianist, singer and songwriter is returning with some pretty special friends.

As part of a 9 show residency, beginning on May 29th, Joe will perform with a cross section of showbiz's most famous faces. Including; Claire Martin, Rob Brydon, Jamie Parker, Katherine Kingsley & Dom Tighe, Natalie Williams, Giacomo Smith, Clive Rowe, Julian Ovenden as well as Joe's own trio. With the breadth of talent Joe has enticed to share the stage with him, each show will be a unique event full of humour, drama and impromptu moments - an incredible week of music for the club.

Joe has toured all around the world with his band and as a solo act, having appeared in jazz clubs and concert halls from New York to Berlin to Kuala Lumpur. He is a regular at legendary London venue, Ronnie Scott's, as well as appearing in West End hit High Society, and performing at the world-famous Olivier Awards.

Rachel Tucker:

5th - 7th June

 

 

Following a triumphant run as Elphaba in Wicked the Musical on Broadway, Rachel Tucker hits the road for her first UK solo tour.

Rachel is currently reprising her role as Elphaba in London's West End, as part of Wicked's special 10th Anniversary cast, having also previously played the role to great acclaim in London for 3 years, where she holds the title of longest consecutive running Elphaba and won the 2011 WhatsOnStage award for Best Takeover in a Role.

Audiences can expect up close and personal performances of some classic jazz, soul, and musical theatre favourites, with a few surprises thrown in for good measure.
