Strange Waves 2
After the success of the first ‘Strange Waves’ last year, it was inevitable a second would be on the cards for 2017. It’s taking place at O2 Ritz, Manchester on Saturday 2nd September. With acts such as Beach Fossils and Rolling Blackout Coastal Fever as well as the headliners Parquet Courts coming all the way from New York, it’s set to be even more lively and energetic than 2016. In fact, it’s proved so popular that early bird tickets have sold out.
But fear not! We’ve got you sorted, with two early bird tickets on offer here.
Waxahatchee
With four studio albums under their belt, all met with positive feedback, the American indie rock band is going on tour. Led by the extremely talented singer-songwriter, Katie Crutchfield, the band has gone from strength to strength since their beginnings circa 2012. But their increasing popularity can only mean one thing – sold out shows. Great for the band, not so great for the fans that don’t get tickets.
If you were one of the unlucky lot to miss out, you can pick up two general admission tickets for Monday 4th September at The Garage, London here.
Baby Strange
The three-piece band released their debut album, ‘Want it Need it’ in September last year. A year on, the lads from Glasgow will be setting out on a tour around Scotland and England. The festival regulars started their own club night at The Priory Bar in Glasgow, where they’d regularly treat the crowd to a DJ set. They forever look at home on stage, which makes their performances so much more enjoyable to watch and get involved in.
The Edinburgh show at Sneaky Pete’s on Saturday 16th September is sold out, but you can bag yourself two general admission tickets here.
From The Jam
The talented and experienced duo of Bruce Foxton and Russell Hastings is teaming up yet again to go on tour. They’ve been selling out tour dates globally since 2007, and this time it’s no different. Ten years later and they’re still selling tickets left, right and centre. It’s no wonder they’re so popular, with their passion for music shining through every performance they put on.
If you missed out on their 2017 UK tour, you can pick up three general admission tickets for Thu 19th October at Sub 89, Reading here.
Marillion
This British rock band has been entertaining fans since 1979. After nearly forty years of writing music, recording music and performing music, they seriously know how to work a crowd. Their love for what they do clearly keeps them going, and it’s obviously infectious, with their fan-base ever-growing. The five-piece band have got two London shows and one Manchester show planned this autumn but Manchester is already sold out.
If you missed out, we’ve got you covered. You can get hold of a general admission ticket for Wednesday 8th November at Manchester Academy here.
