Why You Should Visit The Crystal Maze Live Experience

With the Stand Up To Cancer special episode of The Crystal Maze peaking at an audience of 4.3 million viewers, the show returned permanently to Channel 4 in 2017, with Richard Ayoade as it’s new, quirky Maze Master. Head to toe in flamboyant costumes and leading the ambitious teams through the wacky, yet often complex, challenges, Ayoade picks up the show from where it left off as a TV cult classic; crafting a childhood nostalgia of nights in front of the telly, mesmerised by it’s never-seen-before eccentricity and nail-biting challenges - 22 years after the original series had ended.

But why only experience the nostalgic gameshow from the familiarity of your living room sofa? Why not even take the plunge and dare to defeat The Crystal Maze yourself? Well, now, you can. Safe from the pressures of doing something daft on nationwide telly, The Crystal Maze Live Experience is bringing the authentic Crystal Maze adventure to two locations across the country in which both you, your friends and family can all enjoy a truly unique day out.

Located in both Manchester and London, The Crystal Maze Experience welcomes groups of up to eight people to put their minds and bodies to the test across four differently themed zones: Aztec, Industrial, Futuristic and Medieval; each zone complete with its own perfectly themed and unique challenges. With the age-restriction as low as 13 in Manchester, the venue is perfect for families with teens or a pre-night out experience for the older contestants; whilst the London venue is ideal for groups of friends or even a cheeky stag/hen do. What’s more, if your workplace is struggling with the annual Christmas knees-up then don’t fret as the Manchester location is offering a 32, or more, Christmas party special – complete with mulled wine!

So get away from from the front of your telly and onto the set by taking the plunge to try something new this year, and who knows, you and your friends might just defeat the Crystal Maze yourselves. Buy your tickets now, or book your Christmas party, to avoid missing out!
