The first trailer, plus production images of new musical comedy, Young Frankenstein have been released ahead of its move into the West End later this month!
Legendary filmmaker and comedian Mel Brooks has brought his classic monster musical comedy to life on stage in an all-singing, all-dancing musical collaboration with Tony-award winning Broadway director and choreographer Susan Stroman.
Grandson of the infamous Victor Frankenstein, Dr. Frederick Frankenstein inherits a castle in Transylvania, leading him to fulfill his grandfather's legacy by bringing a corpse back to life. With help and hindrance from hunchback henchman Igor, buxom assistant Inga and needy fiancee Elizabeth, his experiment yields madcap success and monstrous consequences.
The show stars laugh out loud Geordie comedian, Ross Noble, as bug-eyed hunchback assistant, Igor, Birds of a Feather star and 2016 Strictly Come Dancing competitor, Lesley Joseph as strict house keeper Frau Blucher, and West-End superstar Hadley Fraser as Dr Frederick Frankenstein.
Fraser's not the only West End actor to be named in the show, alongside him will be Dianne Pilkington (Wicked), Summer Strallen (Top Hat, The Sound Of Music) and Patrick Clancy (The Producers, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat).
Young Frankenstein comes alive in the West End's Garrick Theatre from 28th September, with tickets on sale HERE.
