New School of Rock Cast, Plus Kids Auditions!



A brand new cast for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s School Of Rock - The Musical are into rehearsals, plus the show is on the look out for a brand new bunch of kids to 'join the band'!

Stephen Leask (current alternate Dewey) will take over the lead role as Dewey Finn from 15th November 2017, as the show enters its second West End year.

Joining him at the New London Theatre will be Alan Pearson playing Ned Schneebly, Michelle Francis as Patty Di Marco and Craig Gallivan as the alternate Dewey Finn. Florence Andrews continues in the role of Rosalie Mullins, alongside three teams of thirteen kids who make up Dewey’s band.

The new cast of 'grown-ups' is completed by Nick Butcher, Cassandra McCowan, Jessica Louise Parkinson, Andy Rees, Cameron Sharp, Jake Sharp, James Smoker, Wendy Somerville, Andrew Spillett, Hannah Stratton, Alex Tomkins, Paul Kemble, Laura Medforth, Billy Mitchell, Tasha Sheridan and Joshua St. Clair, as ensemble and swing members.

The show's also announced that it's looking for a new kids cast, with auditions taking place in London, Bristol, Leeds, Manchester and Plymouth! Youngsters between 8-12 years old are encouraged to sign up, with the first session for those who play the drums, keys, electric guitar or bass guitar taking place in the capital on the 8th November.
