Live at Leeds
An award-winning festival spanning back over ten years, Live At Leeds is back after it's sold-out success of 2017! Returning on the 5th May 2018 to bring the most exciting names and sounds to the city, Live At Leeds is a true coming together of the best in new music.
So far established indie-rockers The Vaccines, Peace, Circa Waves and The Horrors have been announced to lead the stage; whilst upcoming, but still equally brilliant, Cassia, Her's, Louis Berry and Superorganism have also been confirmed to take over the city centre this Spring. With such a certified line-up every year of current favourites and soon-to-be, Live At Leeds has become a go-to destination to see the artists that'll be making their mark in the months and years ahead.
What's more, as a metropolitan day festival, there's no muddy camping in site! So you get to experience the day in style with no wellies, mucky toilets or sodden tents and are free to roam the bustling city of Leeds as you please.
Hit The North
Newcastle's first and largest inner-city and multi-venue music festival, Hit The North is proud to present it's second year with an absolutely stellar line-up this May.
This huge bill of artists includes: winner of NME's Best New Artist award RATBOY; The Horrors, who just dropped two new singles; Marmozets, with their brand new album 'Knowing What You Know Now'; indie icons British Sea Power; and Tom Grennan, whose last tour saw him sell-out venues without having released a debut album yet! And that's just to name a few.
As a metropolitan festival that spans across an entire weekend, with day and weekend tickets available, visitors can enjoy both the incredible music and venues and the bustle of lively Newcastle - being able to come and go as they please. With no camping, this festival is perfect for Newcastle and nearby residents to have the festival weekend whilst having the luxury of staying at home; and those further afield, one of Newcastle's great hotels!
Liverpool Sound City
Liverpool Sound City is making it's hugely anticipated return to Liverpool's Baltic Triangle this May to kick off the 2018 festival season.
This Spring, the festival sees it's 11th year going back to it's roots, with it's vibrant celebration of music and arts taking place much closer to home. Although the location may have changed, it's embrace of the underground and new talent hasn't changed; with the event showcasing some of the best bands and performers of their era, whilst set across many intimate venues and electric spaces in Liverpool.
Over 250 of the most hotly-tipped new bands and established headliners are set to perform, including DMA's, Peace, Slow Readers Club, Baxter Dury and JAWS - just to name a few! Not only this, for the first time, Sound City will introduce the new wave of grime and urban stars too, mixing it up in an eclectic range of sounds and styles - so there's something for everyone.
This killer line-up of entertainment and music spreads across an entire weekend in Liverpool, giving you the choice to explore this exciting city whilst listening to some of the world's hottest acts right now. Plus no camping gives you the luxury of comfort to enjoy the weekend in style and convenience!
