Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds

Oasis fans far and wide may carry on speculating when the reunion will happen but Noel seems to be doing just fine in his current band. Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds are no less entertaining, with the front-man regularly offering plenty of British humour and chat to the crowd. All three of their albums have reached number one in the UK as well, proving it’s not just about stage presence.

If you missed out on tickets to their show at Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff on Sunday 6th May, there are plenty of standing tickets on sale here.

Yellow Days

The Manchester-born teen who claims his influences are Ray Charles, Howlin’ Wolf and Mac DeMarco first began making music at age 11 when he received a guitar as a birthday gift. He released his first EP in 2016 and his second, ‘Is Everything Okay in Your World?’ was released in 2017, with Rejjie Snow featuring on one of the tracks. Yellow Days' soulful voice doesn’t just work well on an album though, as it sounds even better on stage.

If you’d like to check him out, there’s a standing ticket to his show at KOKO, London on Tuesday 8th May available here.

Protomartyr

Atmospheric pop-punk is the genre this band feels at home with and the anger they convey in their music adds to their incredible performing ability. They released their most recent album, ‘Relatives in Descent’ last year, which was ranked number one in the ‘Loud and Quiet’ Top 40 albums of 2017.

There is one general admission ticket available for their show at Scala, London on Thursday 10th May here.

Joe Lycett

Joe Lycett is out and about on a brand new stand-up tour, where he’s busy sharing jokes, paintings and some of the pathetic internet trolling he’s been up to recently. The tour is taking place in 93 dates around the UK, having begun this February and will be running all the way through to November 2018. His live comedy shows are full of tales that will have you chuckling away.

One seated ticket is available for his show at Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham on Friday 11th May here.

Olafur Arnalds

BAFTA award-winning artist, composer, musician and producer Ólafur Arnalds brings a brand new show to London after a three year hiatus, taking the stage at the historical Royal Albert Hall on Monday 14th May 2018. Olafur and his band are bound to give you goosebumps and raise the hairs on the back of your neck with their beautiful music, full of intensity.
