The The
Having sold out all three of their comeback London shows in June this year, The The have clearly been missed! Their warm-up show at Leeds Beckett's Student Union will be part of the band's first live dates in 16 years. The last time they performed live at a show was in 2002 on London’s Southbank, as part of Meltdown Festival directed by David Bowie.
If you’d like to see them at Leeds Beckett Students Union, Leeds on Sunday 27th May, there are two general admission tickets on sale here.
Love Saves the Day
The festival that first began as a one-day event has spent seven years expanding and gaining more popularity. During Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th May, it will be showcasing both underground Bristol-based and globally renowned artists. This year, Fatboy Slim will be headlining the Saturday, while Sampha will headline the Sunday. Other acts on this year’s line up include Tom Misch, Loyle Carner, Mabel and many more.
If you and your friends fancy spending your bank holiday weekend at Eastville Park, Brisol watching some great live music, there are five final release weekend tickets available here.
The Lovely Eggs
The eccentric and wonderfully unique duo, The Lovely Eggs, is made up of married couple, Holly Ross and David Blackwell. Although Holly gained prominence in the all-female band, Angelica back in the 90s, the duo gained instant popularity from radio stations such as BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 6. You can expect nothing less than glitter, luminous paint and heaps of fun during their live shows.
If you missed out on tickets to their show at Ramsgate Music Hall, Kent on Monday 28th May, there is one general admission ticket on sale here.
Beth Ditto
Although you may know her from the band Gossip, Ditto is now making it on her own. She’s appeared on NME’s Cool List in 2006, received a nomination for NME’s Sexiest Woman of the Year award in 2007 and won Glamour’s International Artist of the Year award in 2008. She also released her first solo album last year, which reached the top 50 in the UK Albums Chart.
There are five general admission tickets to her show at Electric Brixton, London on Wednesday 30th May on sale here.
Bonobo
The electronic DJ AKA Simon Green released his sixth studio album, ‘Migration’ last year, which reached the top ten not only in the UK, but also Netherlands and Belgium. But he’s not only popular in Europe, he’s also managed to crack America. You can expect a mix of crowd pleasers such as ‘Kong’ and ‘Kiara’, as well as plenty of new material at the epic venue, Alexandra Palace.
Six standing tickets for his show at Alexandra Palace, London on Thursday 31st May are on sale here.
