The year is 1842 and scientist Dr Nerium has just brought back an exotic, Carnivorous plant all the way from the Peruvian Andes to The Birmingham Botanical Gardens. Rare, spectacular and deadly, Dr Nerium began a journey of experimentation, cross-breeding this pernicious plant with other weird and wonderful findings. But not all of Dr Nerium's undertakings have gone to plan...
Fast forward to 2018 and what can only be described as terrifying, haunting and hideous creatures now roam The Birmingham Botanical Gardens, or should we say The Botanical Scare Gardens... Many enter, daring to take on these beasts themselves, but few return. Do you dare?
Those who have survived Dr Nerium's spooky gardens can join the party afterwards, with a garden full of Stilt Walkers, Fire Jugglers, and other extreme performers pushing themselves to the limits; not to mention fun stalls and thrilling fairground rides! Get ready for an evening of enchantment, excitement and scares. But If you need to take a break from the spooks, there'll be delicious street food and drinks from a fully-licensed bar to indulge in and unwind.
Although mysterious and eerie, The Botanical Scare Gardens does cater for all ages with family friendly experiences starting at 17:00PM until 19:00PM. Whilst those looking for a real thrill can dare to enter the 14+, 19:00PM - 21:00PM scarier experience.
