New Album Release Round-Up

Album release round-up

Ella Mai – 'Ella Mai'

The British singer-songwriter, Ella Mai has just released her debut studio album on 12 October 2018. It includes the singles “Boo’d Up" and "Trip". The R&B singer offers a new retro, snappy sound in the style of ’90s commercial R&B, bringing in an abundance of new sounds. “Boo'd Up" was originally included on Mai's 2017 EP 'Ready'. It reached number five on the US Billboard Hot 100 in July 2018.

If you’d like to see her live, she’s going on tour in January and tickets are available here.

Jess Glyne – 'Always In Between'

British Singer Jess Glynne introduced herself to American audiences in 2014 with “Rather Be”. On her second studio album, she’s once again mixing bouncy pop-EDM and feisty soul to create her signature sound. ‘Always In Between’ is a superior blend of pop, soul and R&B that suggests Glynne will join Sheeran and Adele in doing her bit for British music exports.

She’s going on tour this November, and you can get tickets here.

Greta Van Fleet – 'Anthem of the Peaceful Army'

This Captivating Album was collectively written by all four band members. With a unique mix of rock, soul and blues, the songs explore such themes as fresh starts, love, integrity and truth. Jake’s blazing guitar riffs, Josh's powerful vocals, Danny's thunderous drums, and Sam's swaggering baselines and keys create a truly enjoyable and polished set of ten tracks.

They are going on tour in November 2018 and March 2019, and tickets are on sale here.

Disturbed – 'Evolution'

This is the seventh studio album released by the arena-filling metal band, following 2015's Immortalized. It includes the track "Are You Ready?", with its pulsing electronic open and David Draiman's rhythmic ferociousness, which sounds like a perfect opener for live shows. Although the album encompasses the same sound we've come to expect, there is also a slight tonal change heard in some tracks, showcasing a more mature sound.

Tickets are still available for their shows in London and Manchester next May, you can get them here.

MØ – 'Forever Neverland'

The Danish electro-pop chart-topper’s second album explores the idea that adulthood takes us away from our former young self. But it also tries to tackle the way we try to fight against it! MØ contributed to the Major Lazer/Justin Bieber‘s "Cold Water” and Major Lazer and DJ Snake’s inescapable “Lean On”, two of the most-streamed songs in recent pop. It's no surprise her music career is going from strength to strength.
