For its 14th year, Grand Designs Live will be returning to London's ExCeL on 4th - 12th May, once again bringing the height of home and design innovation to the masses.
As always, household name, design guru and TV broadcaster Kevin McCloud will be leading the event. You will find a wide range of exhibitors and features ready to teach you about the exciting world of interiors and self-build.

But what's new for 2019, and what can we look forward to seeing this May?
Green Finger Campaign
Keeping in line with its green agenda, Grand Designs Live is pleased to be working with charity partner Friends of the Earth. They will be bringing a wildlife forest to the event. Visitors can learn about creating wildlife friendly environments in whatever outdoor space they have to work with.
The event will continue to support their initiative to reduce single-use plastics at the show. The sale of plastic bottles at the event is prohibited, along with the distribution of plastic straws. Plastic cutlery and show goody bags have been replaced with biodegradable alternatives.
Upcycling
Alongside the event's initiatives to be eco-friendly and green fingered, Grand Designs Live will also give visitors the chance to learn more about the art of upcycling.
The more eco-minded of us can learn in this all-new area about the craft, with skilled upcycling designers imparting their valuable insights to the public.
The Under The Stairs Project
New for 2019, this project will see eight designers showcase installations using, you guessed it, the space under the stairs.
