Sigrid - Sucker Punch
One of the most exciting music artists to come from Europe in the last few years, Sigrid has released her highly anticipated debut studio album. The Norwegian singer/songwriter rose to fame with her single 'Strangers' released in 2017, which reached number six in the UK Singles Chart. 'Sucker Punch' also includes hits such as the song of the same name, 'Don't Feel Like Crying' and 'Don't Kill My Vibe'. The album has received a 4* review from NME, and a 10/10 rating by The Line Of Best Fit.
She's going on tour this November and December, and you can get tickets here.
Solange - When I Get Home
There are few artists that have the ability to drop a hit album with no promo. But then again, having two of the biggest and most powerful names in the music industry as your sister and brother-in-law means you don't really have to play by the rules. Solange's latest album 'When I Get Home' – her first in two and a half years – is an ode to Houston, the artist's hometown. With features from Tyler the Creator, Gucci Mane, Panda Bear and more, the record is equal parts R&B, Funk, and Soul, and a much welcomed and anticipated follow up to 2016’s widely heralded 'A Seat At The Table'.
You can see Solange performing at Nos Primavera and Parklife this June, and tickets are available here.
Anteros - When We Land
Dream pop perhaps isn't the most well-known genre, but Anteros are on a mission to officially put it on the musical map. The English band, fronted by Laura Hayden have released their debut album, and it's full to the brim with catchy tunes wrapped in a vintage sound. From moving all night on a dance floor, to driving with the roof down in the sun, you can't help but feel cheerful while listening to their fun and alternative style. Having said that, the joyous feel to the music covers the political statements they're making with their strong and heavy lyrics.
They're going on tour this April, and tickets are on sale here.
Hozier - Wasteland, Baby!
After the success of his self-titled album released back in 2014, it's understandable why his fans have grown impatient to hear more material from the Irish musician. Five years later, he's released his second album 'Wasteland, Baby!' His poetic songwriting is heard throughout, and his voice somehow sounds even stronger and more incredible - if that's possible - than in his debut album. There's no doubt that the 'Take Me To Church' singer is talented, but this new collection of songs just proves the first album wasn't a flook, and he's here to stay.
Tickets to his autumn tour are on sale here.
Foals - Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost – Part 1
It may be hard to believe, but the rock band hailing from Oxford have been releasing music for 14 years now. After four well-received albums, this fifth instalment has been split into two, with part 2 set to be released in September. Indie is often the hardest genre to stand out in, with bands such as Arctic Monkeys and The Killers being the exception. But Foals manage to create recognisable music in the most densely-populated genre time and time again. While their unique sound is heard throughout every track, there is also a real sense of growth within the band and their music-writing.
There are only a limited amount of tickets left for their June tour, and you can buy them here.
