Release Friday: Beyonce, Chemical Brothers & the Best Records this Month!

Chemical Brothers - No Geography

Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons – AKA The Chemical Brothers – have been creating electronic music since the late 80s. The Manchester duo have dominated dance music with their catchy tunes such as 'The Salmon Dance' and 'Go', as well as their electrifying and mesmerising stage shows. This is their first album release since 2015, and not only embraces everything they've done right over the years, but also sees them wander into a new direction with a more mature sound.

They're going on a UK tour this November, and you can buy tickets here.

Jade Bird - Jade Bird

The British singer-songwriter has been making waves in the music industry since her debut EP, 'Something American' was released in 2017. She may only be 21-years-old, but her unique Americana/folk/indie sound is so exciting that we can't wait to see where her music career takes her. She's managed to pack all of these genres into 12 tracks on her debut album in a way that tells us exactly what her musical identity is.

If you'd like to see her live, she's going on tour this November and you get tickets here.

Catfish & The Bottlemen - The Balance

The Welsh indie rock band have been making music since 2007, and they've come a long way since then. The band were welcomed with open arms by British music-lovers, as their debut album 'The Balcony' - which was released in 2014 - reached number 10 in the UK Albums Chart. Since then, they've released two albums, and this latest instalment has been just as well-received. They haven't changed their sound much in any of the albums, but when it works, why would you?

They have shows coming up in May and November this year, and tickets are on sale here.

Billie Eilish - When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?

It's hard to believe this singer and songwriter is only 17-years-old, having released her debut EP 'Don't Smile at Me' in 2017 when she was only 15-years-old. She may have started young, but she's already honed her electro-pop sound, is selling out shows, and has a ridiculous amount of followers on Instagram. Odd moments of cackling, giggling and humming may run throughout her debut album, but this just adds to her growing presence in the pop industry.

Beyoncé - Homecoming: The Live Album

The Queen of pop has released her incredibly memorable Coachella set as a live album. The iconic performance embodied just what Beyoncé is about; be confident, be proud, be unequivocally yourself, and do it all while having the most fun a person can have. The album allows you to re-lives the joy that every single spectator would have felt while watching this pop icon at her best.
