Release Friday: Prince, Kylie & the Best Records this Month!

Hot Chip - Bath Full of Ecstasy

The English synth-pop band have released their seventh studio album, and it's just as slick, cleanly produced and whacky as fans have come to expect. Their almost twenty years in the industry have turned the band into pioneers of the genre. However, you can hear elements of indie, electronic and house throughout this new instalment of tracks.

If you'd like to see them live, they're going on tour this October and tickets are on sale here.

Kylie - Step Back in Time

The Australian singer has firmly cemented her status in the music industry as a pop Queen. With her Glastonbury performance just around the corner, it seemed a perfect time to release her fourteenth album. It's full to the brim of all her biggest hits, from her dance anthem beginnings, to her more recent country-inspired tracks.

She has UK shows coming up this July and August, and tickets are on sale here.

Will Young - Lexicon

It seems like such a long time ago now that we saw the shy Will Young come to light when he defended himself against Simon Cowell on Pop Idol - seventeen years ago in fact - and went on to win the whole show. This is his seventh album now, and with it comes an added sense of maturity. A more sophisticated sound is heard throughout the tracks which paints the picture of just how far he's come.

Young is performing at Pub in the Park in various locations across the UK this year, and tickets are on sale here.

Two Door Cinema Club - False Alarm

Timeless tracks such as 'What You Know' and 'Undercover Martyn' released in 2010 set the very high standard of what's expected from the indie rock band. Thankfully, they've never let their fans down and they bring even more personality and fun to each track they release. Their fourth album manages to hold onto the sound that's gained them so many fans, but also experiment even more with their creativity.

They're heading out on a UK tour this October, and you can get tickets here.

Prince - Originals

A collection of demo tracks performed by the musical legend himself, originally written for other performers. What more could you want to truly celebrate the life of one of the greatest musicians of all time? The fact that the songs are demos brings you closer to his writing process, and gives you a welcome insight into his creative genius.
