Fan-to-Fan: Your Second Chance to Grab Tickets for Visions Festival, Skunk Anansie & More



Patti Smith and band

American singer-songwriter, Patti Smith and her band joined Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds for shows in Dublin and London's All Points East last month. Often hailed as one of the pioneers of the punk rock movement in the 70s, Smith never fails to put on a show. They recently performed a headline show in Brighton, and are heading to Glasgow this August.

One general admission ticket for the show at Kelvingrove Bandstand, Glasgow on Thursday 1st August is on sale here.

Visions Festival

Visions is coming to various venues spread across London Fields in Hackney. This year's stellar line-up includes White Denim, Anna Meredith, and more. But music isn't the only highlight of the festival. The Visions Dog Show is back, with this year's theme being 'Pup Fiction' (All Things Tarantino), as well as ‘Do.omyoga' - the practice of Yoga to meditative doom, drone and avant-garde music.

General admission tickets are now on sale, but you can buy four tickets at early bird price for the London-based festival on Saturday 3rd August here.

Echo & The Bunnyman

The band released their highly-anticipated new album, 'The Stars, The Oceans & The Moon' in October last year. After four years of waiting, fans were itching to hear some new material. The album saw the band return to their peerless back catalogue to reinterpret thirteen of their most beloved songs. They're heading to Glasgow this August before their December shows in Wakefield and Edinburgh.

Skunk Anansie

Skunk Anansie are taking the UK by storm this summer, as they take to stages across the country following the release of their 25th anniversary live album '25LIVE@25'. Having sold out dates in London, Manchester and Bristol, they added shows in Brighton, Bournemouth, Cambridge, Leeds, Glasgow, Newcastle, Nottingham and Cardiff. They'll be joined by extravagant punk rockers Queen Zee.

Broken Social Scene

Following the release of February's 'Let's Try The After - Vol 1' and April's 'Let's Try The After - Vol 2', the band are heading to London for three shows. These were added to their already announced residencies in New York, Toronto, Los Angeles, Seattle, and Montreal. The indie rock band is made up of anywhere between six and nineteen members within the collective.
