This week, the incredible ninth series of Taskmaster returns to our screens. Once again, the show will be offering more astonishing tasks and guaranteed hilarity from some of the finest comedians around.

Created by Alex Horne at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2010, he will once again be joined by Greg Davies, the Taskmaster, as they assign bizarre challenges to some fine comedic talents for our entertainment.

This year's contestants take the form of David BaddielEd Gamble, Jo Brand, Katy Wix, and Rose Matafeo, who over the next ten episodes will compete to be crowned the series winner.

Your television won't be the only place you can see some of these comedians entertain you. Many of this year's guests are heading out on stand up comedy tours, coming to a venue near you in the coming months. Check out where you can see them right here!
