Artist Spotlight: Far Caspian

Lo-fi indie-pop group Far Caspian hail from Leeds and formed when members Joel and Alessio met at Leeds College of Music. Their second and latest EP ‘The Heights’ is in part inspired by the music of the 1970s. It simultaneously showcases hints of synth-pop, creating a deeply affecting sound which touches on themes of love and loss.

It's received rave reviews from the press...

"Absorbed by the reflections of lost, love, and life, Far Caspian craft music that seeps into the mind, heart, and soul." - The 405

"'The Heights' sees Far Caspian combine their signature bedroom-pop rhythms with dreamy and engaging electronic synths to create an experience that is wholly new." - Atwood Magazine

So far this year they've been out and about touring the UK for headlining and supporting shows. They've featured on the line-ups of Hit The North and Live at Leeds Festivals. Far Caspian are firmly cemented as a 2019 One To Watch and an acclaimed emerging act.

Now, the band head out on their own headlining tour in October, with stop-offs as part of Twisterella Festival, Ritual Union and Neighbourhood Festival also taking place.
