Keep your little ones out of trouble this half term... From an exciting fireworks display and funfair at Alexandra Palace to a day with beloved children's author Jaqueline Wilson we've got an event perfect for the whole family.

BRICKLIVE

BRICKLIVE is a fun, action packed day for the whole family. Join previous show favourites Minecraft, Mosaic Builder, City Builder, Brick Pits and Friends Zone along with new areas to explore including the Sci-Fi Zone! Get the family  involved and take part in building your own intergalactic spaceship, test your skills in the Challenge Zone or try and break out of the Escape rooms.

PAW Patrol fans will be able to meet their favourite characters this Autumn – as BRICKLIVE in partnership with Nick Jr. hosts the Midlands first PAW Patrol toy brick models.

Alexandra Palace Fireworks Festival

The family area returns to this year's Fireworks Festival at Ally Pally and it's bigger and better than ever! This area will host music, cabaret, bars, a funfair, the bonfire and some surprises to be unveiled on the night. Whether you're a thrill-seeker or looking for something more sedate, there's something for everyone. Take a nostalgic ride on the dodgems and waltzers, or for the less daring visitors, there's always the trusty tea cups.

Digital Kids Show

Back for their fourth year, the Digital Kids Show brings the whole family together. Whether you want to explore how to keep your family safe online whilst they're gaming or if you want to get hands on learning about all things STEM - there’s something for all ages! New for 2019 the Labyrinth includes over 200ft of inflatable heaven with four zones including 'Arctic', 'Jurassic', 'Egyptian' and 'Jungle'.

The Children’s Garden

The exciting new garden for 2 to 12 year olds is now open at Kew Gardens! Based in a natural setting and the size of 40 tennis courts, children can explore and discover all the elements plants need to grow; earth, air, sun and water. Within over 100 mature trees in this beautiful landscape let the little ones explore hidden treasures, adventure and discover the amazing 4m high canopy walk in the heart of the Children's Garden.

Sherlock: The Game Is Now

Sherlock: The Game is Now, the world’s first official live, immersive Sherlock experience is opening up its doors to families this October half term from the 22nd of October to the 1st of November. Recorded messages from original cast members including Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman and Andrew Scott which help you solve the puzzles and clues to advance to the next level. After completing the 100-minute experience relax with a drink in hand and a bite to eat in The Mind Place with mementos and artefacts from the Sherlock case files.
