Festival Spotlight: What to Expect at Boardmasters

Set in the beautiful county of Cornwall, and with a jaw-dropping backdrop of the coastal scenery, Boardmasters is back for its 40th-year this August with tickets on sale now! The festival's not only a great place to unwind and adventure but you can also catch your favourite artists live, party on a boat with all your friends, surf and partake in some relaxing yoga.

Line up

First, and most importantly let's talk music. The line up for this year includes huge names Skepta, Mura Masa, The Kooks, Kings Of Leon, Dizzee Rascal, Camelphat, Example, The 1975, Loyle Carner, Damien "Jr Gong" Marley, Andy C, Mabel, Pale Waves and so many more! Click here for this year's line up poster. From grime to pop to Indie, there's something suited to everyone's tastes at this year's festival.


There are twelve stages and venues to discover this year including:

🎉 Unleashed: Prepare yourself for the biggest indoor rave in the South West. Previous acts include Craig David, Giggs, Kano, Hannah Wants + so many more!

🌊 The Point: THE place to party. With a stunning backdrop overlooking Watergate Bay, the party goes late into the night with cutting-edge DJ's.

🎤 The Big One (Main Stage): The stage that makes musicians into icons, and icons into legends. Kings of Leon, The 1975 & Skepta will all headline here in 2020.

🥟 Keg & Pasty: A bustling 17th-century Cornish pub filled with comedy and live music, overlooking the breath-taking Atlantic Ocean.

👨‍👨‍👧‍👦 Family Camping: A designated campsite for families, and recommended if you are bringing your little ones along. Baby changing facilities & much more will be available here.

🍃 Greenfield Eco Campsite: Where like-minded souls who endeavour to protect the environment can camp together.

🏰 Cloud Nine Boutique Campsite: Adding a touch of luxury to your camping experience. offering an extra level of comfort to ensure you get the most out of your weekend.

Surfing is a huge activity at Boardmasters and there are so many ways you can get involved. Watch world-class experts as you sip a cold beer from the beach bar, learn to surf like a pro or visit the surf village at Fistral Beach where you can grab some official merchandise.

Kick back in a hot tub with some bubbly, start your day with a yoga class, design a flower headdress and hop over to the Wellness Cafe for some healthy food. At Boardmasters you can zen out and take some 'me time' with a huge range of activities. Our favourites, below!

The Chakra Temple

The perfect way to heal your tired feet and detox your body after a long day of dancing and partying. Yoga in The Chakra Temple (Yoga Tent) will help you discover your physical, emotional and spiritual balance. Immerse your mind, body and soul in a wealth of wellness. Aerobalance, gong baths, aerial yoga, circus skills, vinyasa flow and much more will leave you feeling refreshed and re-energised.

Rock Pool

Breathe in the sea air and listen to the sound of the waves as you relax and reflect in a private bell tent. You can pick between massages, bodywork, reflexology, holistic facials and much more.

After Parties

Whether you're looking to party til' the early hours, or join in a boat party, keep the celebrations going with an exciting offering of all-hours events. If you're looking for a fix after the headliners finish, then Boardmasters' series of official After Parties are perfect for you. There's even a return bus service running each night until 4:30am.
