About Gods of Rap II
Amongst this year's lineup is hip-hop icon Nas. Beginning with his classic debut, 'Illmatic', Nas has stood tall as one of New York City's leading rap voices and has gone on to become one of the greatest MC's of all time, selling 20 million albums worldwide and winning 13 Grammy awards in the process. The body of his work is universally viewed as a classic, still influencing rappers and fans to this day!
Joining NAS is DMX who is making his much-anticipated return to the UK after 15 years! The rapper began his career in the ‘90s with his debut studio album, 'It's Dark and Hell Is Hot', released in 1998. Throughout his epic musical career, he has released seven studio albums.
The Lox are headed up by Jadakiss, Sheek Louch and Styles P. The New York-based rap trio have written and rapped on hits by the likes of Puff Daddy, the Notorious B.I.G., Mary J. Blige, and Mariah Carey.
Finally one of the most revered, beloved and influential groups in hip hop, Gang Starr will be performing a very special 'Legacy' set with a live band, paying tribute to original founding member Guru.
