School Of Rock (2003)
This kid's classic is filled with top-to-toe rock 'n' roll as failed rock star Dewey Finn poses as a substitute teacher and curates his own school curriculum: rocking out. As the class form a rock band and come up with their own incredibly catchy hits led by protagonist Jack Black, the movie is interlaced with a killer soundtrack of classic rock from the likes of Stevie Nicks to Black Sabbath. Whiplash (2014)

Straight Outta Compton (2015)

Although in no way a biopic, Boyle's feel-good musical romcom celebrates and pays homage to The Beatles' much-loved hits with this family friendly, heart-warming feature length.
