Post Malone Hosts Nirvana Tribute Concert for COVID-19 Solidarity Fund

Last Friday (24 April), superstar rapper Post Malone live streamed a very special Nirvana tribute concert from his house in order to raise money for the COVID-19 Solidarity Fund. His 80 minute set consisted of 15 Nirvana classics including 'Heart Shaped Box', 'Come As You Are' and 'Lithium', and was backed by a socially distant band - including Travis Barker. Captain Tom Moore Becomes the Oldest Person to Score a UK Number One

99-year-old war veteran, Captain Tom Moore, has won the hearts of the nation recently by walking laps of his garden in order to raise money for the NHS - £30 million to be exact! But that's not all, the hero recently teamed up with West End icon Michael Ball OBE to duet classic hit 'You'll Never Walk Alone' and has since become the oldest person to reach number one on the UK Singles Chart, with all proceeds going towards the NHS Charities Together Fund. Incredible!

Music Venue Trust Launches #SaveOurVenues Initiative

Right now independent and grassroots venues need your help more than ever as, due to the current situation, many of these venues are currently at risk of being permanently closed down. In response to this heart-breaking threat to the UK's music industry, the Music Venue Trust has launched its #SaveOurVenues scheme in order to raise money for 670 independent venues nationwide in which you can support here.

David Walliams' The Midnight Gang musical to be streamed online for free

The Chichester Festival Theatre have announced that their adaptation of David Walliams' The Midnight Gang will be available from 30 April for 30 days. Penned by Bryony Lavery with music and lyrics by Joe Stilgoe, the show opened in the autumn of 2018. The cast included Jennie Dale, Matthew Cavendish, Marilyn Cutts, Dickon Gough, Tim Mahendran and Lucy Vandi. You will be able to view here.

'Call to Unite' 24-Hour Livestream featuring Alanis Morissette, Julia Roberts, Jennifer Garner and more!

Over 200 celebrities, entertainers, artists and leaders will appear on The Call to Unite, a 24-hour livestream which will be livestreamed at unite.us as well as on Facebook, YouTube, Twitch and Twitter. Organized by Tim Shriver, the long-time chairman and CEO of the Special Olympics, the livestream event features a line-up that includes Oprah Winfrey, Julia Roberts, former President George W. Bush and more.

Slipknot's Corey Taylor to Auction Off Guitars for COVID-19 Relief

You can now bid on 13 guitars form Corey Taylor's personal collection on eBay. The auction features a mix of electric guitars, acoustic guitars and bass guitars, all of which Taylor has signed. All proceeds will go to Direct Relief's COVID-19 response efforts, with eBay providing a matching donation of up to $1 million to the organisation.

UK Artists Announce Limited Edition 'Songs For The National Health Service' Vinyl

British artists and bands, including Foals, Wolf Alice, Nilufer Yanya, Baxter Dury, The Wombats and more, have banded together to create the one-off, exclusive record 'Songs For The National Health Service'. The record, which features live, rare and unreleased tracks by these artists, aims to help Dr. Natalie Watson's 'Hood For Heroes' campaign (providing PAPRS to NHS operating theatre staff) and provide the correct equipment for NHS hospitals, staff and Covid-19 victims. Beyoncé Confirms $6 Million COVID-19 Relief

Beyoncé’s BeyGOOD foundation have partnered with Twitter founder Jack Dorsey’s Start Small fund announcing an initiative that will provide assistance to keyworkers during the current pandemic. The relief will provide $6 million to an assortment of organisations. Beyoncé made a surprise appearance on TV show The Disney Family Singalong where she sang ‘When You Wish Upon A Star’ where she dedicated the performance to all healthcare workers who have been working tirelessly to keep everyone safe.

Tove Lo Announces New Merch Bundles to Raise Money for Covid-19 Relief

Tove Lo recently confirmed on Instagram a new series of merchandise bundles where proceeds will be donated to the charity MusiCares who support musicians impacted by the current pandemic. “There’s been a lot of news about things not happening lately while we’re all in lockdown, I’m excited to talk about something that IS happening and will help a great organization I care deeply about.”

Tour Buses Donated to Aid NHS Staff

Tarrant Anderson has donated his fleet of tour buses to the NHS. Usually, the luxurious tour buses ferry stars around the country, but with tours and festivals being postponed they’re currently out of action. Now NHS staff across the country are using them as temporary hotel bases to relax and re-energise in.
