Picnic at the Castle is the second in a series of socially distanced live events that you have created, can you tell us a little more about what people can expect from it?
This really is a VIP experience like no other, created in response to the current health situation you get to enjoy live comedy and music again in an amazing setting with delicious food, it's not to be missed! We really want to round out the whole festival experience so have a few more experiences up our sleeves.
How did you go about curating the line-up?
We always look local first and contact local musicians, comedians, companies etc. This has been an incredibly hard time for performers and we want to show support to these industries. Our small group all work hard to try and find a great selection of performers.
What do you feel the environment of Warwick Castle will add to the event?
The Castle is such a beautiful environment and well worth a visit within itself. Your ticket includes entry to explore the castle and its own amazing shows so you are getting a real treat!
As well as music and comedy, there will also be early morning Yoga taking place at the event. What is your stance on health and wellness?
I think in the current climate wellness has been so important for people and we cannot wait to bring this event to such a beautiful setting! Yoga with the beautiful Warwick Castle as your backdrop - health and wellness is so important and a strong part of our ethos, we want people to be sharing these moments in a safe environment again.
Picnic at the Castle follows on from a highly successful run of events at Blenheim Palace earlier this summer, what has it been like to stage events during the last few months?
It has been a lot of adapting all-round from the customer experience side of things, to what we're providing and working on, but wonderful to be able to bring events back to people and supply work in these times.
