Everyone has that one album that they'd LOVE to hear live in all of its entirety. Whether it be a seminal masterpiece from your youth, or an album you were sleeping on at the time and regret not catching the artist live during that period of their career; we've compiled a handy guide of which albums you can reminisce with when they come to a venue near you later this year.

ALBUM ANNIVERSARIES

Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly - 'The Chronicles Of a Bohemian Teenager'

Sam Duckworth - AKA Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly - released his first album under this alias back in 2006 after recording much of it in his bedroom. It remains as innovative and exciting more than a decade and a half later, and we can't wait to hear the likes of 'Lighthouse Keeper', 'War Of The Worlds' and 'Once More With Feeling' across the UK this Spring!

The Coral - 'The Coral'

When? March 2022

Where? Nationwide 

Released back in 2002, The Coral's eponymous debut LP can still be heard in pretty much every indie bar and night club across the country 20 years on. There aren't many intros more iconic than that of 'Dreaming Of You' and throughout the full album we are treated to a song-writing masterclass from frontman James Skelly. It won't come as a surprise to know that this album was nominated for both Mercury Prize and BRIT Awards almost immediately upon its release.

Kosheen - 'Resist'

When? June 2022

Where? Nationwide

Electronica favourites Kosheen are taking their legendary debut album 'Resist' across the country this summer in celebration of its 20th anniversary. Blending genres such as trip-hop, drum & bass and house - 'Resist' has a run time of just over one-hour long and it is all killer, no filler. We are excited to see how they transform one of the most revolutionary albums of the 21st century onto the live stage.

RIDE - 'Nowhere'

When? April 2022

Where? Nationwide

Released on the legendary Creation Records back in 1990, shoegaze pioneers RIDE have confirmed plans to tour 'Nowhere' in its entirety this Spring. There is plenty of widespread praise for the album - including featuring in the '1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die', being listed in both Pitchfork and NME's 'Best Songs of the 1990s' lists - and these shows are a 'must see' for any 90s enthusiasts.

David Gray - 'White Ladder'

When? June - September 2022

Where? Nationwide

Packed with some of the most iconic hits in British music history such as 'Babylon', 'Sail Away', and 'This Year's Love' - David Gray's 'White Ladder' will be relived at arenas across the UK later this year. The album has sold over seven million copies worldwide over the past two decades and finally helped Gray 'break' the UK charts after three previous efforts. Alongside hearing 'White Ladder' in its entirety, David Gray will also be performing a set of 'greatest hits.'

The Wonder Years - 'The Upsides'

When? June 2022

Where? Slam Dunk North & South

Self-declared as the album that changed their lives, pop-punk icons The Wonder Years will be rolling back the years at Slam Dunk Festival 2022 by playing their sophomore album 'The Upsides' in its entirety. They have since released four further albums so it is a bold decision to delve into their back catalogue - especially at a festival, but personally we cannot wait to once again experience this album and hear 'Washington Square Park'.

The Libertines - 'Up The Bracket'

The Libertines laid a solid foundation for the 2000's indie scene when they dropped debut album 'Up The Bracket' back in 2002. With a tracklist brimming with iconic anthems such as 'Time For Heroes', 'Boys In The Band' and 'Vertigo' - we will finally hear the album in its full glory 20 years on from its original release. Starsailor - 'Love Is Here'

When? September 2022

With 'Love Is Here', Starsailor enjoyed vast praise and initially charted at number two. Flash forward 20 years and they have since supported the likes of U2, The Killers and The Rolling Stones as well as selling out countless of their own respective tours along the way - and to celebrate both 'Love Is Here' and their career so far, they will be performing live across the UK this September.

Professor Green - 'At Your Inconvenience'

Multi-platinum selling rapper Professor Green will embark on a UK wide tour this September in celebration of the tenth anniversary of second LP 'At Your Inconvenience'. Firmly established as one of the front-runners of the UK's MC and garage scene, this album shifted Professor Green into a more serious and self-aware musician, whilst keeping his witty lyricism at the forefront of his sound. 'Read All About It' was the first number one single for both Professor Green and Emeli Sande and remains an emotional ballad to this day.

Killing Joke

Legendary post-punk band Killing Joke celebrate their 40th anniversary with a run of shows titled the 'Honour The Fire' tour later this month. Packed with raw, compelling, uncompromised musicianship, the iconic rockers with be performing at various venues across the country including Nottingham's Rock City, Manchester's Albert Hall and Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, London. Therapy?

Originally set to take place to mark their 30th anniversary, Therapy? have shuffled things around and will now be performing at venues across the UK as part of their 'So Much For The 32 Year Plan' tour. The Belfast alt-rockers have steadily re-written the rule book over their career - leaning towards commercial success and then steering themselves as far from it as they could. Their live show is one not to be missed!

Welsh rockers The Alarm celebrate 40 years as one of the flag-bearers of British rock with an extensive tour scheduled across 2022. Skunk Anansie

Eagles

In celebration of their platinum anniversary, New York icons LCD Soundsystem have confirmed an O2 Academy Brixton residency to take place across June and July this year. These shows will coincide with the 20th anniversary year of the band's first ever live shows which took place in London in 2022 (at Arthur Baker's 'Return To New York' and Erol Alkan's 'Trash' parties.

Uriah Heep were amongst the leading flag-bearers for British heavy metal and to the delight of their incredibly loyal fan have confirmed plans to celebrate their 50th anniversary - aptly titled 'Lockdown to Rockdown' - with a tour spanning the whole of the UK. Expect to hear a luxurious blend of hard-rock, melodic instrumentation and timeless harmonies from the London formed legends.

The Residents

When? January - February 2023

Where? Nationwide 

Avant-garde trailblazers The Residents have had an illustrious career since their first official release ('Meet The Residents') back in 1974. The elusive outfit have attempted to remain anonymous over the past half-a-century and it wasn't until just before his death in 2018 that Hardy Fox confirmed his position as co-founder. This 50th anniversary tour will focus primarily on the band's iconic 'Duck Stab' album as well as a few hand picked favourites.
