Hacienda Classical

From opening its door in 1982, to closing in 1997, The Hacienda was considered the cathedral of house music and the epicentre of the 'Madchester' scene. Now, Hacienda Classical are returning for their annual mid-summer party at Castlefield Bowl with the likes of DJ Graeme Park, Manchester Camerata and very special guests. Orbital are heading out on their 'The Green Album - Live' tour next year to celebrate their seminal 1991 self-titled debut album, which later became known as 'The Green Album'. Including now iconic hits 'Belfast' and 'Chime', the landmark dance track that launched their career. The hugely influential electronic duo were a key cog in the 90s rave scene, so take a trip down memory lane with them as they create a new experience of the album.

Roisin Murphy

Roisin Murphy arrived on the scene in 1993 as part of the house and trip-hop duo Moloko.Tracks like the Boris Dlugosch's remix of 'Sing It Back' (1999) and the turn of the millennium classic 'The Time Is Now' are still dance classics. After they split in 2004, Roisin Murphy embarked on her impressive solo career, and she has just released her critically acclaimed sixth album 'Hit Parade' with collaborator DJ Koze. She's taking it on tour next February, and it's set to be a high energy show. Book tickets now!

The Prodigy

We can't talk about the 90s without mentioning The Prodigy. From making their debut in 1991, to their seminal third studio album in 1997, 'The Fat Of The Land', featuring iconic hits like 'Firestarter' and 'Smack My Bitch Up', they were a key piece to the 90s rave scene. They returned in 2022 for their first live shows since they lost their brother, the iconic Keith Flint, celebrating his everlasting legacy. They are now heading back out on tour this November, supported by British punk duo Soft Play (FKA Slaves).

Underworld

Where? Manchester

Electronic innovators and pioneers of the UK scene, Underworld, are returning with live shows in London & Manchester! Their 1994 album 'Dubnobasswithmyheadman' is a 'visual and sonic document of London's early 90s rave culture and artistic ferment' (VICE), fusing the importance of music and art which paved the way for something which is now commonplace for musicians. Their influence and importance in the 90s scene shouldn't be understated, and just listen to 'Born Slippy' to be reminded why.
