Echo and The Bunnymen

One of the most influential British bands in modern history, Echo and The Bunnymen are embarking on a UK tour this March including a stop in Bristol! The tour will celebrate the songs that have brought the group twenty top 20 hits and nine top 20 albums so far during their incredible 40+ year career. Big Special

Venue: Bristol Strange Brew

When: Sunday 12 May

Birmingham duo Big Special are set to play Bristol Strange Crew this May as part of a UK tour. The tour follows on from their latest EP including 'This Here Aint Water'. The duo draw disparate influences from a variety of names including Sleaford Mods & Tom Waits, channelling the healing power of soul and the electric charge of rock into something new. Dot to Dot Festival

Led by Jockstrap as headliners, and joined by 15 incredible spotlight artists including Hovvdy, Panic Shack, Mary In The Junkyard and more, Dot to Dot hits Bristol on May 25th.  Emerging acts will grace the stages for the bank holiday, and there's more to come! Bess Atwell

Bristol Sounds

Venue: Canons Marsh Amphitheatre

When: Saturday 22 June - Sunday 30 June

Celebrating a decade, the Lloyds Amphitheatre will host legends of rock, reggae, punk, and dub across three all-day events. Headliners include Skindred, Placebo, and James Arthur. The finale on June 30, presented by Ritual Union, features The Breeders and Ty Segall leading an all-day indie rock event, with Squid and more acts to be announced soon!

Forwards is an inner city music festival drawing the biggest names in international music to Bristol Downs. The festival aims to present high quality, diverse, and heritage music acts alongside emerging artists from Bristol & beyond. The festival aims to present a contemporary curation of music while paying homage to Bristol’s long standing history of being a music city. Ed Gamble

Ed Gamble has minced a load of meat (thoughts), piped it into a casing (show) and it’s coming to a bun (venue) near you. There will be all your classic Gamble ranting, raving and spluttering but he’s doing fine mentally. Promise. Comedian du jour Alison Spittle is simmering with jokes and probably rage, she doesn't know what the burning sensation is. This silly goose has appeared on 'Off Menu', 'You're Dead To Me', 'Guilty Feminist' and 'The Gargle' but to name a few. Voted one of British Comedy Guide's best reviewed artists of the Fringe, Alison - formerly tour support for Maria Bamford and Fern Brady - is heading out on her own this year on a UK tour. Rachel Parris is back with her biggest tour yet, presenting a dazzling new hour of her signature blend of stand-up and songs. The BAFTA-nominated comedian is best known for both her viral satirical segments on 'The Mash Report' and 'Late Night Mash' which have had over 100 million views, and as one of the founding cast members of the award-winning improv group Austentatious, who regularly perform to sold out crowds in London’s West End. New Model Army

Formed in Bradford in 1980, New Model Army are storming through their fifth decade and show no signs of letting up. The band have announced their 16th studio album ‘Unbroken’ to be released in 2024 alongside a huge tour of UK dates to go with with it. The band started writing the album in 2021 against a backdrop of everything that is happening in a fast-changing world and in their own lives.
