Spotlight on: BODEGA

New York punks BODEGA return to the UK for a run of headline shows this Autumn, via a handful of festival performances and intimate shows in Summer.

The October shows come in support of their forthcoming third LP, 'Our Brand Could Be Yr Life' - their first to be released on legendary record label Chrysalis.

Since their debut album, 'Endless Scroll', the band have consistently developed their soundscapes with incredible results. Initially championed by the likes of DIY Magazine, Rough Trade and more, BODEGA quickly turned their attention to transforming their punchy wit to the live stage.

High energy, sold out UK dates from May 2018 until August 2019 gave the band an incredible platform to continue experimenting. In late 2019 they released their breakthrough EP 'Shiny New Model' with the title track regularly heard on BBC Radio 6 Music, taking their music to the next level of exposure.

Their sophomore album, 'Broken Equipment', dropped in 2022 with a sold out headline tour to coincide with the release - notably three huge nights at London's Moth Club!

Celebrated by NME and CLASH, they have since gone from strength to strength, becoming one of the most exciting and intriguing bands on the circuit right now.

Now in the final stages of waiting for their third - and in their own words, "best sounding record to date" - to drop in April, BODEGA are reaping the rewards of not being afraid to dabble in new avenues and braving new ideas.

With sets at Wide Awake and Bearded Theory coming just weeks after its release - we can't wait to hear how 'Our Brand Could Be Yr Life' sounds live.

Don't miss out on a BODEGA show near you later this year. Tickets for all shows are selling fast, with some shows already sold out!
