IYAMAH

Venue: Alphabet

Brighton-born IYAMAH is set to play a hometown gig at Alphabet on Wednesday 22nd May. Growing up on the sounds of African drumming and reggae music, she began song writing at only twelve years old. She has since been handpicked to tour with the likes of Masego and Mahalia, accumulated millions of online streams and received continuous support from the industry. With her distinct soulful R&B sound be sure to grab tickets to see her later this month.

The Streets

Venue: East Brighton Park

When: 24th May 2024

The Streets are heading to East Brighton Park later this month for an epic outdoor extravaganza, where they'll also be joined by Kojey Radical, Billy Nomates, DJ Spoony and MJ Cole. The Streets' latest record 'The Darker The Shadow The Brighter The Light' was an incredible return to form, and you can expect to hear select tracks from it alongside classics at the show!

Busted

Venue: East Brighton Park

Pop favourites Busted are set to visit East Park Brighton later this month for a headline show. The band are famed for iconic hits such as 'Air Hostess', 'Year 3000' and 'What I Go To School For', remaining one of the most exciting live acts. They'll be joined by Scouting For Girls too - you won't want to miss this!

BODEGA

Following the release of their newest LP ' Our Brand Could Be Yr Life' last month, don't miss seeing New York punks BODEGA at Brighton's Concorde 2 at the end of May. Since their debut album, 'Endless Scroll', the band have consistently developed their soundscapes with incredible results, garnering themselves critical praise from the industry.

Deap Vally

Eleven years on from their debut album 'Sistrionix', earlier this year Deap Vally announced their farewell tour, which sees them make a stop in Brighton. Throughout the years, their raucous on-stage presence earned them support slots with Muse, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and The Vaccines. You won't want to miss this farewell show!

Currently celebrating their 40th year as a band, Australian punk rock collective, Cosmic Psychos are set to visit Brighton in July this year. Known for their droning, fuzzed-out bass and wah-wah guitar with repetitive lyrics, the Cosmic Psychos have a simple sound.

Brighton Comedy Garden

City favourite Brighton Comedy Returns this summer! The Lovely Eggs

Psych-punk rockers, The Lovely Eggs, are back on the road, making a stop in Brighton this month. Formed in 2006 the band have received widespread recognition including from BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 6.
