We caught up with last year’s Player of the Match, Tom Grennan. He’ll be lacing up his boots for the England side once again this June.

How excited are you to return to Soccer Aid for UNICEF?

I'm buzzing to be back! It's one of my favourite weeks and I'm honoured to be asked to do it - it's my fourth one, mad! Soccer Aid for me now has a completely different meaning for me, as I was privileged to go out to Cambodia with UNICEF and got to witness where the money is spent and how much good it's doing.

Are you doing any training to prepare?

I'm doing a lot of running, so hopefully I'll be as fit as a fiddle! I try and play little bits of football here and there when I get the time, but I just and try stay fit all year round.

How do you think England will do this year?

I feel this is England's year! The kit looks amazing, the boots are shined and the players who we've got are big time - we're going for the win of course!

Who have you kept in touch with?

We're actually on a big group chat and we keep in touch with everybody! Jill Scott and Mo Farah I keep in touch with quite a bit.
