Bikini Kill

Bikini Kill, the acclaimed feminist punk band founded by Kathleen Hanna, Kathi Wilcox, Tobi Vail, and Billy Karren, is back in the UK for exceptional shows this month. Credited with starting the Riot Grrrl movement in the early ’90s through their political lyrics, zines, and confrontational live shows, the band encouraged women and girls to start bands as cultural resistance.

Ezra Furman

Ezra Furman, who announced being a transgender woman in a 2021 Instagram post, sharing her experience as a mum, and discussing her hesitation to use the term "woman," initially identifying as non-binary, but ultimately embraced her identity. Debuting in 2013, Furman has a dedicated fan base and critical acclaim for her indie-folk music. In 2020, she created the soundtrack for Netflix's "Sex Education." Catch her in London this July!

Alt-pop sensation girli released her boundary-defying album "Matriarchy" last month, marking a new era with full creative control. The album features introspective tracks like "Be With Me," highlighting themes of self-love, queerness, and mental health. "Feel My Feelings" stands out with its emotive music video and relatable lyrics about being overwhelmed by emotions. Hurray For The Riff Raff

Hurray for the Riff Raff is an American band formed in New Orleans in 2007 by Alynda Segarra, a singer-songwriter from the Bronx, New York. An early proponent of non-binary visibility in the 1980s, Segarra was highly inspired by Bruce Springsteen. Following the release of their ninth album 'The Past Is Still Alive' in February this year, don't miss your chance to see them live later this summer.

The Subways

Punk rockers The Subways rose to prominence in the early 2000's. They began playing at an early age, first playing Nirvana, Green Day and other punk songs. After playing Glastonbury The Subways went on to play The Carling Weekend 2004 in both Reading and Leeds, and then proceeded to play their very first (self funded) tour of the UK consisting of 35 dates. They're now set to play a series of shows this October and you can tickets now.
