Spotlight On: Beabadoobee

In the ever-evolving landscape of indie-pop over the last few years it could be easy to get lost in the shuffle, but through her ability to marry contemporary indie-pop with nostalgic 90s grunge Beabadoobee has made her mark for years to come. Her new album 'This Is How Tomorrow Moves' is set to release on 16 August 2024, plus she embarks on a huge UK tour November 2024.

Beabadoobee first stepped onto the scene with her 2017 release 'Coffee', garnering over 300,000 views on YouTube (now at a whopping 7.4 million) and capturing the attention of Dirty Hit Records. She signed to the label in 2018, putting out two EPs in the same year with debut 'Lice' shortly followed by 'Patched Up'.

Beabadoobee released her debut album 'Fake It Flowers' in autumn of 2020, home of lead single 'Care'. The album received critical acclaim, spending one week in the UK Albums Chart and it's no surprise why. Beabadoobee has a knack for blending genres, not only through indie-pop and grunge but with elements of lo-fi and folk creating a sound that's both nostalgic and contemporary.

Her second album 'Beatopia' released in summer of 2022 through Dirty Hit featuring lead single 'Talk'. Beabadoobee's stylish combination of genres has continued to evolve since 'Fake It Flowers' resulting in an album that not only captures the same nostalgia as her previous releases, but also fully buying in to the 90s revival.

Beabadoobee has since released numerous singles including 'Glue Song', 'The Way Things Go' and collaborating with Laufey on 'A Night to Remember'.

Beabadoobee is set to embark on a UK tour November 2024. Don't miss out!
