Whales Beneath the Surface
Taking you on a journey back in time to 50 million years ago, The Natural History Museum’s amazing exhibition ‘Whales: Beneath the Surface’ is available to discover and explore until the 28th of February 2018. Starting with whales’ evolution and their walking predecessors, this grand exhibition dives you straight into the deep end with over 100 specimens from whales, dolphins and porpoises to feast your eyes on and demonstrate how these amazing creatures became the sociable animals they are today. Dinosaurs In The Wild
After a successful launch at Birmingham's NEC earlier this year, prior to moving on to Manchester's EventCity this October, the show's unique time machine will be set up on Greenwich Peninsula, London in February 2018 and will take families back an astonishing 67 million years to encounter amazing creatures like Tyrannosaurus Rex roaming the wild. Londoners will be immersed in an unforgettable experience that, for the very first time, will make them feel as though they are actually there - amongst the dinosaurs, in their world, at their time. Brew-Denell Beer & Ale Festival
Brew-denell is a small independent Beer and Ale Festival, now in its 6th year, featuring some of the best small independent breweries in the UK, including Magic Rock, Kirkstall, The Kernel, Thornbridge, and more, and also some very special imported ales from around the world. Set up to highlight the quality and forward thinking in independent craft brewing both regionally, and selected brewing nationally, the festival will feature between at least 80+ different ales over the weekend. As always, there be live entertainment and good food available throughout the event. Situated at the Brudenell Social Club in the heart of Leeds 6, this will be an essential date to add to your 2018 calendar!
